I love making lists, but especially wishlists. This doesn’t have to mean that I will buy all of the things that are on my wishlist or get the exact thing. I prefer to think about the things I want to buy, so I won’t buy it and then never use it or hate it. But right now I have quite a few things on my wishlist. Some things have been on my wishlist for forever at this point, and other things are pretty new on my wishlist because I recently went to the Ikea and saw a couple of things, and other things are on this list because I am in a spring and/or cozy mood.

My wishlist

HOME WISHLIST

As I mentioned, I went to the Ikea the other day and saw a couple of things.

1. Besta. Storage combination. At first I was looking for the Eket model. I saw that one everywhere on TikTok and it looked really nice. I wanted to use it to store my CDs. But right now, I think this Besta is just prettier and more functional.
2. Step stool. I am the shortest, but I am below average, and it is hard to reach for certain things/spots to clean. I am not sure if I would go for this one however. I think a foldable is just smarter, since I won’t be using it all the time.
3. Set of 3 bowls. This one is also from the Ikea, and I wanted to buy it, but I couldn’t find it except for the show models. But these are useful for dips etcetera.
4. Mirror. This is the Ikornnes mirror from the Ikea, and I liked this one. It is big enough. It is 167 cm long, which is full length for me. And you can hang your outfit for the next day on the back of the mirror.
5. Duvet covers. I really need new duvet covers. I’ve been using the same ones for many years now and you can tell. The other days, I saw a couple of holes in it. So yes, I think it is time to replace them.
6. Ikea 365 food container. Always useful for storing food and I had one, but now I don’t anymore. And I really want to store my food.

Wishlist for Fun

Of course, I have a couple of things on my wishlist that I like to have, just for fun.

1. Rosie CD. I love Blackpink and I love Rosie’s solo album. I just love her voice and her songs.
2. Gracie Abrams CD. This is another CD I would like to add to my collection. I love her voice as well and the songs are pretty good and fun.
3. Flowy Maxi Skirt. I don’t know what a skirt like this is called, but I love it and I have been looking for one for such a long time now. I always look for it at the thrift stores and when I go shopping at the Primark/H&M, but still no luck so far. But spring/summer season is almost here, so I guess I will have more luck then. And I know I can order things online, but I prefer not to. I only order online when it is necessary.
4. Essence Nailpolish. I always wear nailpolish, but it makes me outfit complete. And since it is basically spring, I definitely want to add more colorful nailpolishes to my collection. In case you are wonder, the names of these nailpolishes are (from left to right): Isn’t she minty, Aloha Papaya, Pinkventures, I lilac you, Yellow there. Essence in my favorite brand. It is cheap, they have a great collection of colors and the quality is not too bad.
5. Coloring books. I recently found a couple of coloring books that look simply amazing and cute. A couple of my favorite coloring book brands are: Coco Wyo, Bogiki, Jade Summer, Vivi Tinta, Smith and Daisy.

3. Improve Your Mood: A clean, organized space can make you feel happier and more at peace. Plus, it’s always nice to come home to a tidy environment. I always try to clean everything up immediately. Okay, sometimes I don’t have the energy for it. But I do it as soon as possible. Because a clean and organized home makes me feel a lot better.
4. Save Money: When you declutter, you often find items you forgot you had. This can prevent you from buying duplicates and help you appreciate what you already own. And when you declutter, you might also realize that you have a lot of stuff and that you don’t need all of this. This happened to me and now I just buy the things I really want or need. But I rarely do any impulse buys.

1. Start Small: Don’t overwhelm yourself by trying to declutter your entire house in one day. Begin with a small area, like a drawer or a shelf. Celebrate your progress and then move on to the next spot. It takes time to declutter everything. Maybe declutter a drawer on a weekday and do the bigger projects on the weekends. You don’t have to declutter everything in an hour. It is a process.
2. Sort and Conquer: Create three piles: Keep, Donate, and Toss. Be honest with yourself about what you actually use and need. If you haven’t used something in the past year, it’s probably time to let it go. With certain items it is a bit more difficult because it is not like you wear all of your sweaters all year and your Christmas stuff is in boxes for the biggest part of the year. After you might go through your winter clothes and if you haven’t worn it this season, you might consider donating it.
3. One-In, One-Out Rule: For every new item you bring into your home, try to get rid of one old item. This helps prevent future clutter buildup. Of course, I would recommend to keep one extra of important at the house. You don’t want to be in the shower and realize you are out of shampoo or shower gel. Or find out your toothpaste tube is empty. For this reason, I always keep two of those items at the house, so I am never out.
4. Use Storage Solutions: Invest in some good storage options like bins, baskets, and shelves. Labeling them can also help keep things organized. And it also looks a lot less messy. Your home or garage will look more organized.
5. Digital Declutter: Don’t forget about your digital space! Clean up your desktop, organize your files, and unsubscribe from emails you no longer read. You will feel so much better when everything is organized on your computer/phone as well. It is easier to find certain files, which means you are wasting less time.
6. Make it a Habit: Set aside a little time each day or week for decluttering. Consistency is key to maintaining an organized space. This is totally up to you of course, but I do this every morning or evening. I just love a clean and decluttered home. Plus, if I do it every single day, it is less work than when you only do it once a month or year. For me, it takes maybe 10 minutes a day, not more.
7. Get the Family Involved: Make decluttering a fun family activity. Teach your kids about the importance of organization and have them help with their own rooms. Because if you are living with other people in a house, you are not the only person who is responsible for the mess. But I know it can be hard to keep your house clean and decluttered when you have children. So remember, it doesn’t have to be perfect all the time.
8. Sentimental Items: These can be the hardest to part with. If you’re not ready to let go of something, consider taking a photo of it to keep the memory without holding onto the physical item. Do you still need that stroller/buggy when your kid is already 10 years old and you have zero plans for another kid?
9. Hire Help: If you’re feeling really stuck, don’t hesitate to hire a professional organizer. They can offer great advice and help you tackle the clutter more efficiently. Make sure you find someone who is not going to push you and cross your boundaries. It is still your home and YOU hired them.

Hello there! Next Saturday (25th May) and I am super excited, although I don’t have any specific plans besides eating apple pie. But I have made a birthday wishlist because I love making (wish)lists and of course, I am getting those ‘what do you want for your birthday?’ questions. Now I just can simply share this blog post. This year’s wishlist is a mix of everything, to be honest. A lot of beauty products that I would like to try and some things I need for my house.

My Birthday Wishlist

1. Scrunchies. I love scrunchies and it is something I use every day. I try not to lose but sometimes it happens. So new scrunchies are always welcome.
2. Guess Red Seductive Perfume. I tried this one time when I was at the store and now I can’t stop thinking about it. It smells great.
3. Scrub. My older face scrub is almost empty so I need a new one. So asking a new one for my birthday is a smart idea.
4. Toiletry bag. I don’t have one but I want to go travelling soon and I guess I need one. This one looks very pretty and cute.
5. Face masks. Every Sunday I like to take time for myself. I paint my nails and I love to do face masks as well.
6. Sunscreen for the face. This is something I need because my older is empty and currently I am using a regular sunscreen for my face, but I think it is better to use a sunscreen specific for my face.
7. Vase. I want to buy flowers more often and I need a vase for it.
8. Body Cream. This is a Sol de Janeiro dupe and the price difference is huge. 

1. The Tortured Poets Department. The new album by Taylor Swift. I really want to start listening LP’s again.
2. Candles. I am obsessed with cute candles.
3. Mirror. This is an Ikea mirror and I really liked this one. I don’t have a full-length mirror and this one looks really nice and simplistic.
4. Plants. Someone can never have enough plants.
5. Record Player. I used to have one, but it was a very old one (from the last century) and now I would love to have one again.
6. Flowers. Because I love flowers and it is always a perfect birthday gift.

1. Kitchen Utensils set. This has been on my wishlist for a while now, so now I am also asking for it for my birthday.
2. Ankle boots. I love ankle boots. These days I always wear sneakers, but I would love to own a pair of ankle boots again.
3. Sunglasses. The sun is currently shining a lot and a pair of sunglasses is necessary when I am on my way.
4. Essence Nail polish Gold. I don’t own a gold nail polish and I think this is the right time to buy one. This will be perfect for festival and other parties.
5. Backpack. I just like this backpack a lot.
6. Headphones. Heard so many good reviews about these apple headphones and they look pretty good as well. Pretty expensive though, but one person can dream right?
7. White sneakers. As I mentioned above, I wear a lot of sneakers and I kind of love white sneakers. It is hard to keep them clean, but they look pretty.

However, the Multiplication Table doesn’t signify: let’s try Geography. London is the capital of Paris, and Paris is the capital of Rome, and Rome—no, that’s all wrong, I’m certain! I must have been changed for Mabel! I’ll try and say “How doth the little—“’ and she crossed her hands on her lap as if she were saying lessons, and began to repeat it, but her voice sounded hoarse and strange, and the words did not come the same as they used to do:—
