We live in a society where we are expected to have a successful career, a family, a social life, and so much more. Even on our days off or during the weekend, our schedules are often completely full. Of course, life can get busy sometimes, and there will always be weeks that are more demanding than others. But when you keep going without slowing down, you may forget to pause, rest, and take a deep breath. Eventually, your body and mind will start to signal that something is wrong. Feeling unwell can be the first sign that it’s time to stop and take care of yourself. These are the signs of mental exhaustion that you shouldn’t ignore.

Signs You Are Mentally Exhausted

You overthink a lot: You can’t stop overanalyzing everything, and you constantly worry about the past or the future.

Trouble focusing: When you are mentally exhausted, you have trouble focusing on one task at a time. It can even be hard to focus on conversations with your friends.

Forgetting things: Forgetting something once in a while isn’t unusual; it can happen to anyone. But if you notice that you are forgetting more and more things, it might be a sign that you need to slow down.

No motivation: You don’t feel like doing anything at all. And even if you try to do something, it can be very hard to actually get things done.

You feel tired: This one is obvious, but you may still feel tired or exhausted even after a full night of sleep.

Tension in your body: Your muscles feel tight and you may notice tension in your body, most commonly in your neck and shoulders.

Low energy: You never seem to have the energy to do anything. Even getting ready for the day can feel like a big effort.

Change in appetite: Some people start eating more when they feel stressed, while others eat less. If your appetite suddenly changes, it might be a sign.

Hard to fall asleep: You feel tired but can’t seem to fall asleep, no matter what you try.

Irritability: If you have been feeling more irritated or frustrated lately, it can also be a sign that you need to slow down and take some time for yourself.

Feeling overwhelmed: Your to-do list suddenly feels overwhelming, and even day-to-day life can feel like too much.

Procrastination: You feel overwhelmed and tired, so you postpone things. The next day you feel the same way and put them off again.

Not taking care of yourself: Whether it’s eating mostly junk food, neglecting hygiene, or not brushing your hair—these can all be signs.

Things You Can Do When You Are Feeling Mentally Exhausted

Slow down: Look at your to-do list and ask yourself if you really have to do all those things. If you want to start feeling better, you may need to do less and slow down.

Take care of yourself: Eat healthy, get enough sleep, and move your body. These are the things that will help you in the long run. It’s not always easy, but you will start to feel better.

Stop doomscrolling: One reason we often feel overwhelmed is because we are on our phones all the time. Try reducing your screen time and use those hours for better and healthier things.

Start doing (small) things for yourself: What makes you happy? Life isn’t only about working all the time or doing what other people or society expect from you. You should also do what truly makes you happy.

Mindfulness is a word we all know, but what does it actually mean? What are the benefits of mindfulness, and how do you become more mindful? In today’s blog post, I will tell you everything you need to know. I truly believe that mindfulness is beneficial for everyone. A lot of people still think it’s a bit weird or simply don’t understand it, but mindfulness can help us feel better, happier, and more present. It is incredibly helpful in our day-to-day lives and can genuinely improve the quality of our life.

What Is Mindfulness

If you are like me and tend to overthink a lot, you know how overwhelming thoughts can be. We are constantly thinking about the past or the future, but we are rarely truly engaged in the present moment. Have you ever sat down and done nothing, or lay in bed trying to fall asleep? In those moments, your mind suddenly starts thinking about your to-do list for tomorrow or a mistake you made yesterday, or even years ago. With mindfulness, you bring your awareness back to the present moment.

It’s normal to have thoughts, but let’s say you suddenly think about a mistake you made last week. You notice the thought, and before you know it, you start spiraling and overthinking it. With mindfulness, you notice the thought and then gently bring your attention back to the present moment. You don’t give those thoughts any power. You learn that you are not your thoughts.

A few benefits of Mindfulness

Less Stress: Mindfulness helps calm your nervous system by bringing your attention back to the present moment instead of constant pressure and urgency.

Less Anxiety: By noticing thoughts without getting caught in them, mindfulness reduces worry about the future.

More Emotional Awareness: You become more aware of your emotions, making them easier to understand and process.

Improved Focus: Mindfulness trains your attention, helping you stay present and less distracted.

Better Sleep: Slowing your mind before bed can reduce racing thoughts and support deeper rest.

A Kinder Relationship With Yourself: Mindfulness encourages self-compassion instead of self-criticism.

Reduced Overwhelm: Focusing on one moment at a time makes life feel more manageable.

Better Stress Response: You learn to respond calmly to challenges rather than reacting automatically.

Greater Mental Clarity: Being present creates space for clearer thinking and better decisions.

More Joy in Everyday Moments:
Mindfulness helps you notice and appreciate small, simple moments that often go unnoticed.

How to Practice Mindfulness (In a Gentle Way)

You don’t need to change your entire routine to practice mindfulness. Start small. Pause and notice your breath for a few seconds. Pay attention to how your body feels while sitting or walking. Eat one meal without distractions. Notice your thoughts without labeling them as good or bad. After you notice them, gently return to the present moment and focus on what you were doing, or simply bring your attention back to your breathing.

I think a lot of people would love to experience less stress in their lives. Having less stress makes life feel easier and more enjoyable. But how do you actually reduce stress, especially when your job or boss is stressing you out, or when there are other things in your life causing constant pressure? The truth is, you can’t always remove the source of stress, but there are things you can do to manage it better. Today, I’m sharing a few simple tips to help you feel less stressed.

How to Become Less Stressed

Less screentime

I’m starting with an obvious one: less screen time. And less screen time has several benefits. First of all, when we spend hours on our phones scrolling on TikTok or other social media platforms, our brains have to process a huge amount of information. Everything is available 24/7, so it never really ends. Your social media feed has no stopping point. Because we consume so much information, we get overwhelmed, and that’s when we start to feel stressed.

Another reason why less screen time might be a good idea is that we spend around five hours a day on average on our phones. We literally waste that many hours every day. Imagine how much free time you would have if you weren’t on your phone all the time. And when we have more time for ourselves, we naturally feel more relaxed.

Say ‘ no’ more often

Start saying no to things you don’t want to do or simply don’t have the time for. Everyone has only 24 hours in a day, so you can’t do everything. It might be hard in the beginning to say no to certain people, but it will get easier over time. You don’t have to please everyone around you. You need to do what’s best for you.Yes, you might disappoint a few people, but that’s part of life. Don’t feel guilty about cancelling plans or saying no.

Meditating

You can put two people in the same environment, yet they can have completely different reactions. One might feel stressed, while the other remains calm. Why? Because most of the time, it’s your thoughts that create stress. With the right mindset, you can handle situations better and feel more relaxed. You can improve your mindset by meditating. Start with just five minutes a day and increase it gradually. Meditation helps you understand that you are not your thoughts. Over time, you become better at observing your thoughts and letting them go.

Sleep

After a bad night of sleep, I feel tired and easily irritated. A lot of people underestimate how important it is to get enough sleep every single night. Try to stop looking at screens at least two hours before going to bed. Read a book instead, this can also help you fall asleep faster. Make sure you get enough hours of sleep. Find out what works best for you, because everyone is different. And once you’ve found your ideal sleep routine, try to stick to it, even on the weekends.

Exercise

If you had a stressful day or went through a stressful situation, it’s important to find a way to release that tension. Exercising is a great way to reduce stress. Find a form of movement you actually enjoy, it can even be something as simple as going for a walk. When you exercise, your brain releases feel-good hormones, and it lowers your cortisol levels (the stress hormone). As a result, you’ll start to feel calmer and less stressed.

Hobbies

You can also find ways to release stress that don’t involve exercising. For me, reading really helps. I love escaping into a different world after a long day. Coloring works for me too. But maybe you have a different hobby. And if you don’t have a hobby yet, try to find something you enjoy, something that helps you feel more relaxed, and make time for it more often.

Talk to someone

Find someone you can trust, maybe a professional who can help you. They can give you different perspectives and tools to handle certain situations. Sometimes you simply don’t know how to deal with something, and that’s okay. Another person can offer new insights and help you learn how to handle things in a healthier and more effective way.

Hey there! If you’re reading this, chances are you’re feeling the pressure of an endlessly busy life. Whether it’s work, family, social obligations, or just the sheer chaos of everyday tasks, many of us find ourselves constantly on the go, with little time to breathe. Our to-do lists are always never-ending and definitely can feel like we are running from one place to another. So, why are we always so busy? More importantly, what can we do about it? Let’s dive in!

Why are we always too busy?

First off, let’s talk about why we’re always so busy. There are a few key reasons:

The Culture of Busyness: Society often equates being busy with being successful. We wear our busyness like a badge of honor, thinking it makes us look important and productive. We kind of want to impress other people by saying how busy we are.

Technology Overload: With smartphones, email, and social media, we’re always connected and always “on.” This constant connectivity means work and social obligations can reach us anytime, anywhere. This one is a big one for me personally, because I have noticed I have a lot of free time if I stay productive and stop looking at my phone.

Poor Time Management: Sometimes, it’s not that we have too much to do, but that we don’t manage our time well. Procrastination, multitasking, and lack of prioritization can make us feel overwhelmed. Some people really think that multitasking is a great idea when you have tons of things to do, but most of the time it has the opposite effect and you are actually wasting more time with multitasking.

Inability to Say No: Many of us have a hard time turning down requests, leading to an overloaded schedule. We fear missing out, disappointing others, or appearing lazy.

Perfectionism: Striving for perfection can make simple tasks take much longer than they should, leaving us less time for other activities.

What To Do About It?

Now that we know why we’re so busy, let’s talk about what we can do to regain some control over our time and our lives.

Prioritize Ruthlessly: Not everything on your to-do list is equally important. Focus on what truly matters and let go of the rest. Use tools like the Eisenhower Matrix to categorize tasks by urgency and importance. Decide for yourself what you want or have to do and let go of the rest.

Learn to Say No: This one’s tough, but essential. Politely decline requests that don’t align with your priorities. It’s okay to set boundaries and protect your time. Maybe you can reschedule it for a later moment or if you really don’t want to do it and it is not mandatory, then just say no

Embrace Imperfection: Perfectionism can be a major time-suck. Aim for “good enough” and move on. Remember, done is better than perfect. I tried to be perfect with everything, but I have learned over the last couple of years that perfection does not exist. There is always something that you could improve, so it is a never-ending cycle.

Set Boundaries with Technology: Turn off non-essential notifications, set specific times to check email and social media, and consider digital detox periods. Being constantly connected isn’t sustainable. I like to sort of schedule my social media moments. I take maybe 15 minutes a day to check my Instagram and comment on other posts. For me, it works really well

Schedule Downtime: Treat relaxation and self-care like any other important appointment. Block out time in your calendar for activities that recharge you, whether it’s reading, exercising, or just doing nothing. I like to schedule me-time in the evenings before bed (no screens, just reading a book) and on the weekends. It doesn’t have to be the whole day, just an hour can also be beneficial.

Delegate and Outsource: You don’t have to do everything yourself. Delegate tasks at work and home when possible. Hire help for chores or tasks that consume too much of your time. It is okay to ask for help.

Practice Mindfulness: Sometimes, busyness is more a state of mind than a reality. Practicing mindfulness and being present in the moment can help you feel less overwhelmed and more in control. For example, I thought my to-do list was overwhelming, so I took a step back, calmed myself down, and realized it wasn’t so bad. I just made it worse in my head. Sometimes you are truly your own worst enemy.

Review and Reflect: Take time to regularly review your schedule and commitments. Are you spending your time in a way that aligns with your values and goals? Make adjustments as needed.

Being busy all the time is not a badge of honor—it’s a sign that something needs to change. By understanding why we’re so busy and taking proactive steps to manage our time better, we can reclaim our lives and enjoy more balance and fulfillment. Remember, life is too short to be constantly rushed. Slow down, breathe, and take control of your time.

Hey there! Today, we’re diving into the world of cortisol, that sneaky little hormone that likes to crash our parties and make life a bit more intense than it needs to be. Grab a cozy drink, and let’s chat about what cortisol is, why it’s important to keep it in check, and how we can all show it who’s boss. This is your guide to lowering your Cortisol Levels.

What is Cortisol?

So, what is cortisol, anyway? Cortisol is a hormone produced by your adrenal glands (those little guys sitting on top of your kidneys). It’s often called the “stress hormone” because it plays a key role in your body’s response to stress. Imagine it as your body’s built-in alarm system. When you’re in a stressful situation, your brain sends a signal to release cortisol, giving you that rush of energy to deal with whatever’s happening—whether it’s a looming deadline or a saber-tooth tiger (if you’re into imagining prehistoric stressors).

Why High Cortisol Levels Are Not Good?

While cortisol is super helpful in short bursts (like, say, running from danger or cramming for an exam), having too much of it all the time is a big no-no. High cortisol levels over long periods can lead to a bunch of unpleasant symptoms and health issues. Here’s the lowdown on why keeping your cortisol in check is crucial:

Weight Gain: Especially around your midsection. Yup, cortisol loves to store fat in the belly area.

Sleep Problems: High cortisol can mess with your sleep cycle, leaving you tossing and turning at night.

Immune System Suppression: Making you more susceptible to colds and other illnesses.

High Blood Pressure: Chronic stress can lead to hypertension, which is a fancy word for high blood pressure.

Mood Swings and Mental Health Issues: Anxiety, depression, and irritability can all be tied to excess cortisol.

How to Tell if Your Cortisol Levels are High

Chillin’ Out: A Guide to Lowering Your Cortisol Levels

Hey there, stress warriors!

What’s the Deal with Cortisol?

How to Tell if Your Cortisol Levels Are High

Here are some signs that your cortisol might be a bit out of whack:

Feeling tired but wired (you know, that weird combination of exhaustion and being unable to relax)

Cravings for salty or sugary foods

Unexplained weight gain

Digestive problems

Frequent headaches

Trouble concentrating or memory issues

Tips to Lower Your Cortisol Levels

Alright, now that we know what cortisol is and why high levels are a bad thing, let’s get into the Important part—how to lower it! Here are some tried-and-true tips to help you chill out and bring those cortisol levels down.

1. Get Moving (But Not Too Much)

Exercise is fantastic for reducing stress, but moderation is key. Intense workouts can actually increase cortisol, so aim for activities like walking, yoga, or swimming. These help reduce cortisol without putting too much strain on your body. Seriously, even turning your music on and dancing in your living room is a great stress reliever. Even cleaning your home can help

2. Sleep Like a Boss

Make sleep a priority. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night. Create a bedtime routine that includes winding down without screens (blue light can mess with your sleep hormones), and keep your bedroom cool and dark. Personally, I have to stop looking at my screens after 8/9 PM, so I read instead. I always fall asleep so fast and most of the time I wake up full of energy. I even feel a difference in my mood when I get enough sleep. This can be a challenge. Sometimes I just want to watch a movie or a show, but I have remind myself I sleep so much better when I just read instead.

3. Mind Your Diet

Certain foods can help keep cortisol in check. Incorporate plenty of fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean proteins into your diet. Omega-3 fatty acids (found in fish, flaxseeds, and walnuts) are especially good. Avoid excessive caffeine and sugar, as they can spike cortisol levels. Try to follow a healthier diet. Maybe an 80/20 diet is a good diet for you. This means you eat healthy (fruit and veggies) 80% of the time and less healthy for 20% of the time.

4. Practice Mindfulness and Relaxation

Mindfulness practices like meditation, deep breathing exercises, and progressive muscle relaxation can work wonders. Even just a few minutes a day can make a big difference. And meditation doesn’t have to take hours a day. You can even take 5 minutes to yourself.

5. Laugh More

Seriously, laughter is one of the best natural stress-busters. Watch a funny movie, hang out with friends who make you laugh, or even try laughter yoga (yes, it’s a thing!). Just have more fun. Do more of what makes you happy. Changing your mindset can also help with this. If you are constantly thinking about the things you don’t like, you will feel more stress. So start thinking about the things you want.

6. Stay Connected

Social support is crucial. Spend time with friends and family, and don’t hesitate to talk about what’s stressing you out. Sometimes just venting can be incredibly therapeutic. But don’t become that friend who always complains to her/his friends. Most people don’t like that. You should talk about other things as well. Just spend time with your friends, go to the cinema together or bake together. It doesn’t matter. As long you feel more connected to your friends and family.

7. Limit Alcohol and Nicotine

Both alcohol and nicotine can increase cortisol levels. Cutting back or eliminating them can help your body manage stress better. This is one of the first things I learned when I had a burn-out years ago. Back then, I decided to stop drinking alcohol completely. You don’t have to do this, but it worked for me.

8. Get a Hobby

Engaging in activities you enjoy can distract your mind and reduce stress. Whether it’s painting, gardening, reading, or playing a musical instrument, make time for fun. Do more fun things for yourself. I recently made a list of 40+ no-spend self-care activities if you need a little bit of inspiration. Maybe you find something that you want to do.

9. Consider Supplements

Some supplements like ashwagandha, Rhodiola, and fish oil are known to help manage stress and lower cortisol. Always talk to your doctor before starting any new supplement. Most of the time, you don’t need extra supplements if you eat a healthy diet. Always consider eating more fruit and veggies

Final Thoughts

Lowering your cortisol levels doesn’t have to be a chore. By incorporating these simple, enjoyable habits into your routine, you can keep stress at bay and live a more relaxed, happy life. So go ahead, take a deep breath, and start making those small changes today. Your mind and body will thank you!

How are you feeling today? In the last couple of years, I’ve heard more and more people talking about stress. In today’s fast-paced world, stress has become an all too common companion in our lives. Whether it’s due to work pressure, personal challenges, or the relentless demands of daily life, stress can take a toll on our physical and mental well-being. Fortunately, there are numerous strategies you can employ to quickly and effectively relieve stress. In this blog post, I will give you 10 tips to relieve stress fast, so you can feel better and happier too.

10 Tips to Relieve Stress Fast

Deep Breathing

One of the simplest yet most effective ways to relieve stress is through deep breathing. The act of taking slow, deep breaths can activate your body’s relaxation response, reducing stress hormones like cortisol. Practice deep breathing by inhaling slowly through your nose, holding your breath for a few seconds, and then exhaling slowly through your mouth. Repeat this process several times, focusing on your breath and letting go of your worries. You will feel lighter with each deep breath you take.

Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness meditation is a powerful technique that can help you stay present in the moment, reducing anxiety and stress. Find a quiet space, sit comfortably, and focus on your breath or a specific object. When your mind wanders, gently bring your attention back to the present moment. Consistent mindfulness practice can lead to reduced stress levels and improved emotional well-being. Meditation is helpful for everyone and it has a lot of benefits. You just sit still for 15 minutes a day, remove all distractions, and close your eyes.

Progressive Muscle Relaxation

Progressive muscle relaxation is a method that involves tensing and relaxing different muscle groups in your body. By doing this, you can release physical tension and promote relaxation. Start from your toes and work your way up to your head, tensing each muscle group for a few seconds before releasing. This practice can help you feel more physically relaxed and reduce stress. You probably not even realize how tense your muscles are.

Exercise

Physical activity is a natural stress reliever. Engaging in regular exercise releases endorphins, which are known as “feel-good” hormones. Whether it’s a brisk walk, a workout at the gym, or a yoga session, moving your body can help you combat stress, boost your mood, and improve overall well-being. Start your day with a workout or a walk or do it like me: dance in the morning to my favorite songs. It puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day.

Visualization

Visualization involves imagining a calm and peaceful place, allowing your mind to escape from the stressors of the present moment. Close your eyes and create a mental image of a serene environment, focusing on the details, sounds, and sensations. Visualizing this peaceful place can help you reduce stress and regain a sense of tranquility. See yourself giving that presentation and imagining that everything goes well. You can become more confident if you visualize as well.

Listening to Music

Music has a remarkable ability to influence our moods. Create a list on Spotify filled with songs that put you in a good mood. Listen to songs you want to sing along to or dance to it. For example, I really like to listen to older songs, mostly from 90’s and early ’00s. I often listen to these kinds of songs while working. It always puts me in a great mood and I stop thinking about the other things I have to do (which would normally bring me stress).

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy uses essential oils to promote relaxation and reduce stress. Scents like lavender, chamomile, and eucalyptus have calming properties. You can diffuse these oils in your home, add them to a warm bath, or use them in a massage to alleviate stress and anxiety.

Laughing

Laughter is indeed the best medicine. It triggers the release of endorphins, lowers stress hormones, and provides an instant mood boost. Watch a funny movie, spend time with friends who make you laugh, or find a good comedy show to lighten your mood and relieve stress. And if you find it hard to laugh, there is even laughter therapy.

Time Management

Stress often arises from feeling overwhelmed by a never-ending to-do list. Proper time management can help you regain control and reduce stress. Organize your tasks, prioritize them, and break them down into manageable chunks. Setting realistic goals and maintaining a structured schedule can prevent stress from piling up. I personally like to use Notion to stay organized every single time. You can make endless lists and it can really help to stay organized.

Social Support

Connecting with friends and loved ones can be a tremendous source of stress relief. Talking to someone you trust about your worries can provide emotional support and often lead to fresh perspectives on your problems. Don’t hesitate to reach out and lean on your social network when stress becomes overwhelming. But one warning: spend time with those people who lift you up and not bring you down. When you are experiencing stress, you can’t and don’t want to deal with people who are toxic.

Stress can be a part of life, but it doesn’t have to control your well-being. By incorporating these 10 tips to relieve stress into your daily routine, you can quickly and effectively relieve stress, promoting a healthier and more balanced lifestyle. Remember that not all techniques work the same way for everyone, so it may take some trial and error to discover which methods work best for you. Whether you prefer deep breathing, exercise, or the soothing scent of lavender, finding your personal stress relief strategy is the key to a happier and more relaxed life. Start implementing these practices today, and watch your stress melt away in no time.

One thing I hear people say a lot of times is that they are tired and they wish they had more energy to do certain things. A lot of people are even feeling exhausted the moment they wake up. But after a night of sleep, you have (and want) to feel energetic. What if I tell you there are ways to feel more energetic during the day? This list contains 9 natural energy boosters. When I started doing these things I started to feel energetic again and suddenly life was easier and it did not only boost my energy but I was feeling a lot happier.

9 Natural Energy Boosters

Get enough quality sleep
Getting enough sleep is step one. Make sure that you know how many hours per night you need to wake up feeling refreshed. Most people need around 7-9 hours per night so stick to that. It is also best to stick to your bedtime every single night, even on the weekends. But you can still feel tired after sleeping many hours, and that is because the quality of your sleep is more important than the actual hours of sleep. In this case, quality sleep means deep sleep. During this part of your sleep, your body heals itself. If you get enough deep sleep you feel refreshed when you wake up. You can sleep deeper by turning off your screens in the evening and exercising during the day.

Exercise
Most of the time exercising does not sound like a lot of fun when you are tired, but it is a game changer. Every time you feel tired, get up and start doing something. You don’t have to hit the gym when you are tired, just a short walk or just cleaning your apartment is fine too. And suddenly you will have more energy. This is why I recommend moving your body in the morning. One thing I like to do is to turn the music on in the morning and just dance and clean a little bit.

Cold Showers
A lot of people love this and take cold showers every single morning. I am going to be honest and say that I am not the biggest thing and I really prefer warmer showers. But apparently, it is good for your blood circulation and it will give you more energy. Research shows that taking cold showers has a lot of benefits for your health. So if you are brave enough (especially during the colder months), you can always try this.

Avoid stress
Stress uses up a lot of your energy. That is why you are feeling more tired on stressful days. Find ways to eliminate your stress, feeling stressed every single day does a lot of harm to your health. Not only you will feel more tired, you sleep worse, you get sick faster than usual and it is not great for your mental health. To reduce stress I would recommend finding things that you love to do and doing those things more often and at the same time work on your mindset. Train your brain to see the good things more often. Not easy when you are used to feeling stressed, but definitely worth it.

Breath
We never really think about this, because it happens naturally (to most of us). When you are stressed, you breathe more shallowly, while it is better for your energy levels to breathe in deeper. You can train this by practicing this for ten minutes every single day. Or when you are waiting for something. There are also YouTube videos that might help you. When I was dealing with panic attacks, I used this YouTube video to breathe deeper.

Food
Some foods give us more energy and others don’t. Try to eat healthier, so more veggies and fruit instead of things that contain a lot of sugar. Sugar might give you a short energy boost, but after that the sugar crash comes and you will even worse than before. Pick a fruit instead. Yes, fruit also contains sugar but those are natural and it definitely contains a lot less than candy or crisps.

Go outside
This tip is definitely more for the colder months when you prefer to stay inside and warm instead of going out into the cold weather. But your body wakes up because of the light. So go outside in the morning. Go out for a walk and enjoy the natural sunlight. Even when the sun is not shining it is important to go outside. It still has some sort of an effect on your body/mind.

Drink water
Sometimes we forget to drink enough water during the day, but our body really needs it. Did you know that if you are dehydrated you can feel more tired, and can experience headaches? My best tip is to bring a water bottle with you everywhere you go. And if you are really struggling with drinking enough water, set a timer every 30 minutes or so to take a sip from your water bottle.

Do something that you love
When you do something you really love or spend around people you love, you can suddenly feel more energetic. I can be feeling tired but as soon I turn on the music I can suddenly have more energy. Everyone has that one hobby or thing they love to do that gives them energy. Find out what those things for you are and do those things more often. It can be simple like listening to your favorite music, going to see your favorite sports team play, or watching a comedy movie

Photo by Becca Tapert on Unsplash

The post 9 Natural Energy Boosters first appeared on A happy life.
