A long time ago, I was doing an internship, and there was someone there who introduced me to drinking hot water. Every day, we had a coffee/tea break together, and while I was drinking tea, another woman would always drink hot water. One day, I asked her why, and she explained that drinking hot water had a lot of benefits. Of course, I had to try it! Honestly, I ended up liking it more than cold water, and now I actually prefer drinking hot water over cold, even in the summer. And today I am sharing those benefits of drinking hot water with you.

The Benefits of Drinking Hot Water

Supports Digestion: Warm water can help stimulate digestion by encouraging blood flow to the digestive organs. It may help your body break down food more efficiently and reduce feelings of bloating or heaviness.

Helps Relieve Constipation: Drinking hot water can help soften stools and encourage regular bowel movements, especially when consumed in the morning.

Promotes Relaxation: Warm water has a calming effect on the nervous system. It can help your body relax and may reduce tension or stress, especially when enjoyed slowly.

May Improve Circulation: Warm water helps dilate blood vessels, which can support better circulation and reduce stiffness in the body.

Helps With Detox Processes: Water supports the body’s natural detox systems. Drinking warm water may help stimulate sweating and urination, assisting the body in eliminating waste.

Soothes the Throat: Hot or warm water can feel soothing for a dry or irritated throat, especially during colder months or when you’re feeling under the weather.

May Reduce Bloating: Warm water can help relax the digestive tract, making it easier for gas to move through the system and reducing bloating.

Supports Morning Hydration: Starting your day with warm water gently rehydrates your body after sleep without overwhelming your system.

Can Help With Menstrual Discomfort: Warm water may help relax muscles and reduce cramps by improving blood flow.

Eases Nasal Congestion: Steam from hot water can help loosen mucus and soothe a stuffy nose.

May Support Weight Management: Warm water can slightly boost metabolism and may help you feel full before meals.

Encourages Mindful Drinking: Sipping warm water slowly invites mindfulness — you notice the taste, temperature, and the act of drinking itself.

Supports Hydration During Cold Weather: Cold water can feel shocking in winter, while warm water keeps you hydrated comfortably.

Calms an Upset Stomach: Warm water can relax the muscles of the digestive tract, helping reduce nausea or mild stomach discomfort.

Boosts Energy Gently: Unlike caffeine, warm water can refresh your system subtly by aiding circulation and hydration.

Improves Skin Health: Hydration from warm water supports circulation and can help maintain skin elasticity and a healthy glow.

Reduces Stress Hormones: The warmth signals your body to relax, which may help lower cortisol levels and promote calm.

Supports Oral Health: Warm water can help wash away bacteria gently, especially when paired with morning routines like brushing.

The reason I am writing this blog post is because a couple of days ago I realized I wasn’t drinking enough water. Even worse, I was barely drinking at all. During the winter months, I definitely struggle more with my water intake. But even in colder months, it is still very important to drink enough water.

Water plays a huge role in our bodies, and even mild dehydration can cause a lot of vague and easily overlooked symptoms. These are the signs of dehydration you shouldn’t ignore.

How Much Water Do You Reall

There isn’t one perfect amount of water that works for everyone. How much you need depends on factors like your body, activity level, diet, climate, and overall health. A common guideline is around 1.5 to 2 liters of water per day, but some people may need more, especially if they exercise, sweat a lot, or drink caffeine regularly.

Instead of focusing only on numbers, it’s helpful to listen to your body and drink consistently throughout the day. Waiting until you feel very thirsty often means you’re already mildly dehydrated.

Sign of Dehydration

Thirst: Feeling thirsty is the body’s most obvious signal that it needs fluids. If you’re frequently thirsty, your body may already be slightly dehydrated. However, some people don’t notice this symptom or don’t feel thirsty at all, which can make it harder to recognize when your body actually needs water.

Dry Mouth or Lips: A lack of saliva can make your mouth feel dry or sticky, which is often an early sign of dehydration.

Dark Yellow Urine: Urine color is a useful indicator. Dark yellow urine usually means your body needs more water, while light yellow suggests good hydration.

Fatigue or Low Energy: When you’re dehydrated, your blood volume decreases, making it harder for oxygen and nutrients to circulate efficiently. This can leave you feeling tired or sluggish. So the next time you’re feeling a bit low on energy, try drinking a glass of water to see if it helps.

Headaches: Dehydration can cause the brain to temporarily shrink due to fluid loss, which may trigger headaches. I used to get a lot of headaches when I was younger because I didn’t drink enough water. Your body is about 70% water, so it’s no surprise that you need enough water each day for your body to function properly.

Dizziness or Lightheadedness: Low fluid levels can affect blood pressure, leading to dizziness, especially when standing up quickly.

Dry Skin: Dehydration can reduce skin elasticity, making your skin feel dry and less supple. So if you want that glowy, healthy, well-hydrated skin, drinking enough water is essential. It’s beauty hack number one.

Difficulty Concentrating: Even mild dehydration can affect your focus, memory, and mental clarity. If you have to study or work for a few hours, make sure to keep a water bottle on your desk so you can take a few sips throughout the day.

Muscle Cramps: A lack of fluids and electrolytes can cause muscles to cramp or feel tight. So if you are feeling a bit stiff or have more cramps than usual, then drink more water.

Constipation: Water helps keep digestion moving. Without enough fluids, stools can become hard and difficult to pass.

As the year slowly winds down, there’s something beautiful about using the final stretch to reset your life and gently step into the best version of yourself. You don’t need a dramatic transformation or a strict “new year, new me” plan — small, meaningful habits can change everything. Here are the core habits to master before 2026 to feel healthier, calmer, happier, and more aligned with the life you want.

Master These Habits Before 2026

1. Prioritize Sleep and Rest

Sleep is the foundation of everything: your mood, skin, energy, focus, productivity, and even the way you talk to yourself. Make rest a non-negotiable part of your routine. I know it can be hard to go to bed early, especially on weekends, but I promise it will make a huge difference. You will feel like a different person.

Don’t forget to turn off your screens one or two hours before bedtime because using screens before bed can mess up your sleep. Create a cozy, calm evening routine that helps you fall asleep fast. For me, that means reading for one or two hours before bed.

2. Practice Self-Care — For Your Body and Your Mind

Self-care isn’t just bubble baths and face masks (though those help, too). It’s learning to support both your physical and mental wellbeing.

For your body:
• hydrate
• move your body
• nourish yourself
• stretch
• keep consistent routines

For your mind:
• take breaks
• set boundaries
• journal
• rest when you’re overwhelmed
• speak kindly to yourself

When you care for both your mind and body, you feel grounded, like you’re finally taking care of you.

3. Spend More Time Offline

We often don’t realize how much screens drain us until we step away. A few days ago, I heard on the news that Meta hid research on the link between social media and mental health, and the results were not good. People who spent a lot of time on Facebook and Instagram experienced depression symptoms, anxiety, and more. Then they spent one week without social media and they already felt much better. Social media is designed to keep us addicted, like zombies.

Try spending more of your free time offline: reading, journaling, going for walks, visiting cafés, tidying your space, or simply being present. You’ll start to feel calmer, more focused, and more connected to yourself.

4. Make Time for Fun Activities

You don’t have to be productive 24/7. Your life is allowed to be fun, cozy, and filled with small joys. Make time for activities that make you feel alive. Bake, draw, shop, craft, watch movies, learn something new, explore your city, or pick up a hobby you haven’t touched in years. Fun isn’t childish, it’s essential. Try planning one small thing each day just for fun.

5. Move Your Body Daily

We all know how important it is to move our bodies, yet we often forget. We prefer to lie on the couch and watch another episode and that’s fine sometimes. Rest is important too. But moving your body daily is even better.

This doesn’t mean you need to go to the gym every day. You don’t need to go to the gym at all. There are so many ways to move: go for a walk, turn on music and dance, stretch, or do some yoga. Movement doesn’t have to cost money, you can do it for free. Changing your habits is hard at first, but it’s worth it. You’ll feel better, more focused, and you’ll sleep better too.

6. Eat Foods That Make You Feel Good

Healthy eating isn’t about strict rules or perfection. It’s about choosing foods that give you energy and help you feel your best. And yes, it’s not always easy. The supermarket is 90% processed foods and maybe 10% unprocessed foods.

Try buying more fruits and vegetables. Make a list before you leave the house, and eat before you go grocery shopping if you shop while hungry, you’ll buy more unhealthy food. Find delicious recipes online. If you start eating healthier, you’ll notice the difference, especially if you’ve been eating a lot of junk food. You might even experience mild withdrawals in the beginning, but stick to your plan and you’ll feel better soon.

And don’t forget to cut back on unhealthy drinks like soda and sugary coffees. Drink more water and tea instead.

Winter is here in all its chilly, cozy glory. While I love snuggling under blankets and sipping hot cocoa as much as the next person, this season can be rough on our skin, hair, and overall wellness. So, I thought I’d share my winter self-care routine to help you feel your best during the colder months.

Winter Self-Care

Skincare: Keep That Glow Alive

Winter air can be brutal, sucking the moisture right out of your skin. Here’s what’s been working for me:

Hydrating Cleanser: I swapped my usual foaming cleanser for a cream-based one that doesn’t strip my skin. Game changer!

Moisturize Like You Mean It: After cleansing, I slather on a thick moisturizer. Look for one with ceramides or hyaluronic acid. Oh, and don’t forget your neck—it deserves love too. And don’t forget about the rest of your body. Give your body the love it needs this winter.

SPF Every Day: Yes, even in winter! UV rays don’t take a vacation just because it’s cold.

Face Oils: I add a drop of facial oil to my moisturizer for extra hydration. It’s like a little spa moment every morning.

Lip Care: Dry, cracked lips are a no-go. I keep a nourishing lip balm in my pocket and exfoliate my lips once a week with a sugar scrub.

Haircare: Bye-Bye, Winter Frizz

My wavy hair gets super dry and frizzy during winter, so I’ve stepped up my haircare game:

Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner: Twice a week, I use a hydrating formula to keep my hair soft without over-washing.

Hair Masks: Once a week, I treat my hair to a deep-conditioning mask. It’s such a vibe—throw on your favorite playlist and let it soak in.

Leave-In Conditioner: This helps lock in moisture and tame frizz. I’ve also started using a satin pillowcase to reduce dryness and breakage.

Scalp Care: Don’t neglect your scalp! I’ve been loving a gentle scalp scrub to keep things fresh and flake-free. And massaging your scalp feels good too.

Heat Styling? Protect It!: Always use a heat protectant before blow-drying or styling. Your hair will thank you.

Wellness: Stay Cozy, Stay Healthy

Winter is all about comfort, but that doesn’t mean you can slack on taking care of yourself:

Hydration: It’s easy to forget to drink water in the cold, but your body still needs it. Herbal teas are my go-to for staying warm and hydrated. But I also bring my water bottle everywhere I go.

Movement: I’m not a fan of working out, but I love going out for walks. It’s a gentle way to stay active and reduce winter stiffness.

Nourishing Foods: Soups, stews, and roasted veggies are winter staples in my kitchen. Bonus: they’re great for your skin and overall health. Seriously, I think I can eat soup every single day.

Vitamin D: With less sunlight, I’ve been taking a vitamin D supplement. It helps keep my energy and mood up when the days are gray.

Self-Care Rituals: Winter is the perfect time to lean into cozy self-care. I’ve been journaling more, lighting candles, and reading more

Final Thoughts

Winter self-care isn’t just about looking good; it’s about feeling good too. Take the time to pamper yourself and listen to what your body needs. Whether it’s layering up on skincare, nourishing your hair, or just wrapping yourself in a big, soft blanket with a good book, make this season yours.

What are your go-to winter self-care tips? Let me know in the comments—I’m always looking to try new things!

Stay warm and take care! ❄️✨

Hey there! Let’s talk about something we all experience but rarely discuss: that pesky feeling of being bloated. You know, the one that makes you feel like you’ve swallowed a balloon and it’s just chilling in your stomach, making you look and feel twice your size. Annoying, right?

Why Bloating is the Worst

The Discomfort: First off, it’s just plain uncomfortable. Your jeans are suddenly too tight, and sitting or moving around becomes a game of “find the least painful position.”

The Look: No one likes the unexpected baby bump look when all you had was a sandwich. It’s like your body is staging a protest against you in the most visible way possible.

The Mystery: Sometimes, it’s hard to pinpoint what caused the bloating in the first place. Was it the food? Did you eat too fast? Is it stress? The guessing game is not fun.

Why Am I Bloated?

There are a ton of reasons why you might be feeling bloated. Here are a few common culprits:

Overeating: It’s pretty straightforward. When you eat too much, your stomach expands and can lead to that bloated feeling.

Gas: Yep, gas. When your digestive system breaks down food, it produces gas. If it builds up, you’re left feeling like a human balloon.

Food Intolerances: Lactose, gluten, certain veggies (hello, broccoli), and even artificial sweeteners can cause bloating if your body has trouble digesting them.

Swallowing Air: This can happen if you eat too quickly, talk while eating, or chew gum. It’s more common than you might think!

Hormones: For many women, bloating is a monthly visitor thanks to hormonal changes related to their menstrual cycle.

Tips to Beat the Bloat

Watch What You Eat: Keep track of foods that cause you to bloat and try to avoid them. Common ones include beans, lentils, carbonated drinks, and certain vegetables.

Eat Slowly: Take your time when eating. It helps reduce the amount of air you swallow and gives your stomach time to signal to your brain that you’re full.

Stay Hydrated: Drinking water helps keep your digestive system running smoothly and can prevent constipation, which often causes bloating.

Get Moving: Light exercise, like walking, can help move gas through your digestive system and reduce bloating.

Try Probiotics: These good bacteria can improve your gut health and reduce symptoms of bloating.

Avoid Carbonated Drinks: The bubbles in these drinks can get trapped in your stomach and cause bloating.

Consider Over-the-Counter Remedies: There are medications available that can help reduce gas and bloating. Always consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new medication.

Relax: Stress and anxiety can mess with your digestive system. Techniques like deep breathing, yoga, or even a relaxing bath can help reduce bloating.

Conclusion

Feeling bloated is a common but annoying part of life. The next time you find yourself feeling like you’ve swallowed a beach ball, try some of these tips. And remember, you’re not alone in this! We’re all just trying to navigate the bloat one day at a time.

Got any tips or tricks for dealing with bloating? Share them in the comments below!

Hey there, food lovers! Have you ever felt like you’re constantly at war with food? Maybe you’ve tried every diet under the sun, only to end up feeling more confused and frustrated. If this sounds like you, it’s time to consider a new approach: intuitive eating. It’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle change that focuses on listening to your body and finding peace with food. Let’s dive into what intuitive eating is all about and how you can get started on this liberating journey.

What is Intuitive Eating?

Intuitive eating is a philosophy that encourages you to reconnect with your body’s natural hunger and fullness signals. Unlike traditional diets that restrict what you can eat, intuitive eating promotes a healthy relationship with food by allowing you to eat what you want when you want it. Sounds too good to be true, right? But it’s not! Here’s the kicker: it’s all about tuning into your body’s needs and making food choices that feel good both physically and mentally.

The 10 Principles of Intuitive Eating

Reject the Diet Mentality: Toss out those diet books and unfollow those social media accounts that promise quick fixes. Dieting often leads to more harm than good. To have a healthy relationship with food, you should stop dieting.

Listen to your body: Listen to your body’s hunger cues and feed it before you become ravenous. This helps you avoid overeating and makes meals more enjoyable. Sometimes you start eating, just because you’re bored or watching something on TV. And while that is not always a bad thing. It can lead to overeating and if you do this too often, you will start gaining weight.

Make Peace with Food: Give yourself unconditional permission to eat. If you tell yourself you can’t or shouldn’t have a particular food, it can lead to intense cravings and binging. Dieting is always about the things you can’t eat. That is not healthy. And for some reason, you will start craving exactly those things. Food is not your enemy. It is fuel for your body and mind.

Challenge your thoughts: Ignore those negative thoughts that tell you certain foods are “good” or “bad.” All foods can fit into a healthy diet. Sure, fruit and veggies are healthier, but that does not mean you can never have an unhealthy snack or meal.

Respect Your Fullness: Pay attention to your body’s signals that you’re no longer hungry. Pause during meals and ask yourself if you’re comfortably full. Again, listen to your body. It tells what you need. If your body tells you you’re full, stop eating. Don’t overeat, because that can make you feel nauseous.

Eat what you want: Eating should be pleasurable! When you eat what you really want, you’ll feel more satisfied and less likely to overeat. This means you can have that piece of chocolate. You can have Mac & Cheese for lunch.

Stop emotional eating: Find ways to cope with your emotions without turning to food. Stress, anxiety, and boredom can’t be truly fixed with a snack. Start exercising, meditating, or finding a hobby that will make you feel more relaxed or will distract you.

Self-love: Accept your genetic blueprint. Respect your body so you can feel better about who you are. Be grateful for your body.

Exercise – Feel the Difference: Focus on how it feels to move your body, rather than the calorie-burning effect. Find activities you enjoy and make you feel alive. Whether this is walking, dancing, or going to the gym. It really doesn’t matter as long you feel good.

Eat healthier: Make food choices that honor your health and taste buds while making you feel good. Remember, you don’t have to eat perfectly to be healthy. A piece of chocolate is still allowed, carbs are allowed, even pizza is allowed.

Why Give Intuitive Eating a Try?

Intuitive eating can lead to a healthier, happier relationship with food. It’s about trusting your body, enjoying your meals, and finding a balance that works for you. No more yo-yo dieting, no more guilt – just a peaceful coexistence with food.

Ready to start? Trust your gut (literally) and embark on this journey towards food freedom. Your body knows best, so why not listen to it?

Happy eating!

Hey There! Summer is finally here, and while we’re all excited to soak up some rays, it’s also the season when our skin needs a little extra TLC. Between the sun, heat, and humidity, your skin can easily go from glowing to greasy or from sun-kissed to sunburned. But fear not! I’ve got the ultimate guide to help you achieve that beautiful, glowy skin all summer long. Let’s dive in!

Summer Skincare Secrets

1. Hydration, Hydration, Hydration

First things first: drink water like it’s your job. Keeping your skin hydrated starts from the inside out. Aim for at least eight glasses a day. For an extra boost, infuse your water with fruits like lemon, cucumber, or berries. Not only does it taste amazing, but it also gives you a dose of vitamins and antioxidants. Bring a water bottle everywhere you go, especially on warm days. Try to swap sugary drinks for water as well.

2. Sunscreen is Your BFF

If there’s one thing you take away from this post, let it be this: never skip sunscreen. Choose a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher and apply it generously every morning, even on cloudy days. Don’t forget areas like your ears, neck, and the tops of your feet. Reapply every two hours, especially if you’re swimming or sweating. Trust me, your skin will thank you in the long run.

3. Lightweight Moisturizers for the Win

Heavy creams can feel like a sticky mess in the summer heat. Opt for a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated without clogging pores. Look for products with ingredients like hyaluronic acid and glycerin, which help retain moisture. Less is also more this summer!

4. Exfoliate, But Don’t Overdo It

Exfoliation is key to maintaining a radiant complexion by removing dead skin cells, but too much can strip your skin of its natural oils. Aim to exfoliate 2-3 times a week with a gentle scrub or an exfoliating cleanser. This will keep your skin smooth and help your other skincare products absorb better.

5. Antioxidant Power

Incorporate antioxidants into your skincare routine. Products with vitamins C, E, and green tea can help protect your skin from free radicals and sun damage. A good vitamin C serum in the morning can work wonders for your skin’s brightness and overall health.

6. Don’t Forget Your Lips

Your lips need sun protection too! Use a lip balm with SPF to prevent chapping and sunburn. Look for balms that contain nourishing ingredients like shea butter or coconut oil to keep your lips soft and hydrated. You can try to scrub your lips every now and then, but again don’t overdo it.

7. Soothe with Aloe Vera

Aloe vera isn’t just for sunburns. It’s also a fantastic natural moisturizer that can soothe and hydrate your skin. Keep a bottle of pure aloe vera gel in the fridge and apply it after sun exposure for a cooling, refreshing treat. Personally, I love Aloe Vera products. I have a few products with Aloe Vera and they are great for my skin.

8. Less is More with Makeup

Heavy makeup and summer heat don’t mix well. Opt for a more natural look with a tinted moisturizer or BB cream that contains SPF. A bit of bronzer, waterproof mascara, and a swipe of lip gloss can give you a fresh, sun-kissed look without feeling heavy.

9. Eat Your Way to Glowing Skin

What you eat can significantly impact your skin’s appearance. Load up on summer fruits and veggies like watermelon, berries, tomatoes, and cucumbers. These foods are high in water content and antioxidants, helping to keep your skin hydrated and glowing from within. Eat more fruit and veggies instead of ice cream and pizza this summer. This will also help you with your water intake because fruit and veggies also contain water.

10. Get Your Beauty Sleep

Never underestimate the power of a good night’s sleep. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night to give your skin time to repair and regenerate. A well-rested body shows through in your complexion, making it look fresher and more radiant. Create an evening routine that helps you to fall asleep fast and deep, so you wake up feeling refreshed every single morning.

11. Stay Cool

Heat and sweat can lead to breakouts. Try to stay cool by wearing breathable fabrics, using fans or air conditioning, and washing your face with cool water to help minimize sweat and oil buildup.

There you have it, folks! With these tips, you’re well on your way to achieving that enviable summer glow. Remember, skincare is all about consistency and listening to what your skin needs. Stay hydrated, protect yourself from the sun, and embrace the natural beauty that summer brings. Here’s to glowing all season long! ☀️✨

Happy summer and happy skincare, everyone!

Hey there, ! 🌊💧Let’s chat about something super simple yet incredibly essential—staying hydrated. We hear about it all the time: “Drink more water!” But why is it such a big deal, and how can you keep up with it without turning into a camel? Let’s dive in!

Why Hydration Matters

First off, let’s talk about why our bodies crave that sweet, sweet H2O.

Keeps Your Body Running Smoothly: Water is like oil for your car. It keeps everything running smoothly, from your joints to your digestion. Without enough water, your body struggles to perform even basic functions.

Energy Levels and Brain Function: Feeling sluggish and having trouble focusing? You might just be dehydrated. Even mild dehydration can affect your mood, memory, and brain performance.

Detox and Health: Water helps flush out toxins from your body. Think of it as a natural detox drink that’s free and always available.

Skin Health: Want that glowing, dewy skin? Water is your best friend. Proper hydration can help keep your skin clear and plump.

Weight Management: Sometimes, our bodies confuse thirst with hunger. Staying hydrated can help control unnecessary snacking. The next time you think you want to snack, try to drink some water first.

Tips and Tricks to Stay Hydrated

Now, we all know we should drink more water, but life gets busy, and it’s easy to forget. Here are some fun and easy tips to make hydration a no-brainer:

Carry a Water Bottle Everywhere: It sounds basic, but having a water bottle within arm’s reach can remind you to drink up. Invest in a bottle you love—maybe one with a built-in straw or a cool design. Bring it with you when you go to work, exercise, or shopping.

Set Reminders: Use your phone to set hourly reminders to take a sip. There are even apps dedicated to tracking your water intake!

Infuse Your Water: Bored with plain water? Jazz it up with slices of fruit, cucumbers, or mint. This not only makes it taste better but also looks super fancy. But don’t drink mint-flavored water all day, because this can cause some negative symptoms.

Eat Your Water: Yep, you read that right. Foods like cucumbers, watermelon, and oranges have high water content and contribute to your hydration. It is a win-win situation because you hydrated yourself but you also get those vitamins and minerals. Super healthy!

Start Your Day with Water: Make it a habit to drink a glass of water first thing in the morning. It’s a great way to kick-start your day and your metabolism. the last time you drank water was many hours ago, so your body really needs it.

Keep Track: Use a water tracking app or a simple journal to note how much water you’re drinking each day. Sometimes seeing it written down can motivate you to drink more.

Happy Summer Everyone. I hope you are all going to have the best summer ever. Maybe you are going on a holiday or maybe you just have to work all summer, just like me. Even though I have to work all summer, I plan to have the best summer. Of course, this is just a small part of the things I want to do this summer. I also have other plans like buying magazines for the first time in forever. I used to buy magazines on vacation. I want to do that again to get those summer vibes. I also want to do other little things like getting a milkshake and spending more time outside.

Things I want to do this Summer

Reading

What is better than reading during summer? Spending a few hours in a different world is just perfect, especially when you are not going on a vacation. Obviously I am going to read romance novels. That is what I read most of the time because it makes me happy and romance is obviously the best genre to read in summer. It was hard to make a list because my wishlist is so long.

The list of books I want to read this summer:

Just for the summer – Abby Jimenez

Funny Story – Emily Henry

Not in love – Ali Hazelwood

The Dixon Rule – Elle Kennedy

How to End a Love Story – Yulin Kuang

The Rom-Commers – Katherine Center

Out on a limb – Hannah Bonam-Young

Hate Mail – Donna Marchetti

Wildfire – Hannah Grace

Magnolia Parks – Jessa Hastings

The Match – Sarah Adams

The Pumpkin Spice Cafe – Laurie Gilmore

The Fake Mate – Lana Ferguson

Cross the Line – Simone Soltani

Ready Or Not – Cara Bastone

Happy Medium – Sarah Adler

Finding Mr. Write – Kelley Armstrong

Thrift Shopping

I just love thrift shopping. You never know what you are going to find. I don’t mind shopping for a new outfit at the thrift store. Recently I got a CD player (how old school of me) and I started to look around at thrift stores for CDs.

Baking & Trying New Recipes

The other day, I also got new cook books with the gift cards my employee gave to me. This summer, I want to start trying new recipes and start baking again. I just love creating something delicious that I can eat later. I am thinking about making Rocky Road, Cake, and maybe Pizza Bagels.

Learn how to play the Ukelele

I also got a ukelele recently at the thrift store and it was one of those things on my wishlist. But now I have one and I have to learn how to play one. I hope that I can play at least one easy song by the end of the summer.

Get a stronger body and eat healthier

Okay, I can’t complain. My health is already pretty good. It is more that I ate a lot of junk food in the last couple of months and I just want to eat healthier and make better food choices again. I mean, there is nothing wrong with a milkshake every now and then. But it is more that I ate junk food every single day. I want to put more vitamins and minerals into my body. I also want to get a stronger body, especially a stronger upper body. My legs are pretty strong, I think. I ride my bike every single day to work. But I want to see more muscles in my upper body. I also want to walk more often. On the weekends I am pretty lazy and I think

Write a book

I already started writing, but I am one of those people who starts something and never finish it. That is something I would like to change. I don’t have to finish the book, but it would be great if I could write 50% or something.

These are the things I want to do this summer, even though I am not going on vacation. Do you have plans for the summer? Are you going on vacation or are you
